GM MILITARY DISCOUNT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION CHANGE

Starting November 16, 2017, the GM Military Discount site now uses ID.me to verify military identity and eligibility. Program eligibility requirements haven't changed; however, customers who use the Military Discount will now be required to verify their identity and eligibility through ID.me on gmmilitarydiscount.com. This means less paperwork for you at the time of the vehicle sale, as you will no longer be required to verify program eligibility.

ID.me is a Single Sign-On process that verifies your customers' identities when they upload their military documentation. Once that documentation is confirmed, your customers will then be eligible for the GM Military Discount and can obtain an authorization code at www.gmmilitarydiscount.com

Please note, you'll still need to retain your customers' authorization codes and redacted driver's licenses, this update should ultimately streamline the entire sales process for both you and your customers.
